According to the Sages Vargottama Planet is the one who retains its sign in the Navmansha Chart (D-9). It is considered as the Purest planet in a native's Horoscope. It's the one who will definitely give you results in its Period or Mahadasha.
During my research, I found that The Vargottama Planet is the only planet that works as it should do according to the Lagana Chart (D-1), Rest all planets differs in result. Vargottama Planet gives full result.
